Earthquakes and Typhoons - The first night that we were here in Japan I woke up because an earthquake was shaking the bed.  Apparently this is quite a common occurrence and not something to worry about.  Today, we experienced a typhoon...this was my first typhoon!

The education fair is going well.  Although there were not as many visitors as expected today because the typhoon caused major shutdowns of the public transit system.  We expect tomorrow to be uber-busy to make up for today.

We are meeting many agents and families.  Highroad Academy is unique because of it's size and location and because we are an independent school, we have a lot to offer international students.  Highroad staff and teachers, you are making a great impression here in Japan.

Here is a photo of Alynne and our interpreter Takako Tane.  Takako it was a pleasure working with you!
